Guide Wanted
Lead Exclusive Adventures in the Greenlandic Wilderness!
We’re looking for five guides to join our remote camps in Greenland, either in the wilderness of Kiattua or in the village of Saqqaq, for the 2025 summer season. Our concept is simple: each group gets a personal guide, and all experiences are private—meaning no adventures are shared with other guests.
This is not a typical guiding job, where you take new guests on the same route every day. Every journey is unique, shaped by nature, the guests, and the unexpected moments that make Greenland so special.
Working at Nomad Greenland is not your typical job. It’s a way of life where every day is a mix of hard work, craftsmanship, creativity, hospitality, and teamwork. We live and work in the heart of Greenland’s wilderness – far from the noise of the city, in rhythm with nature. But let’s be honest: this isn’t a vacation. The work is physically and mentally demanding. At the same time, being out here shapes the way we work together. The remote setting and raw nature create a different kind of teamwork— —one where we truly rely on each other, balancing independence with strong collaboration.
The Adventures You'll Lead:
As a guide, you will take guests on private, immersive experiences in Greenland’s raw and untouched nature. This includes:
🏔️ Hiking & Nature Exploration – Leading hikes through deep fjords, along ancient Viking ruins, up to mountain summits, and across rugged Arctic terrain.
🚣 Ice & Water-Based Activities – Kayaking between towering icebergs, exploring hidden fjords, and guiding guests as they paddleboard among icebergs.
🎣 Foraging & Fishing – Teaching traditional Greenlandic fishing methods, gathering sea urchins or Arctic char, and assisting with wild foraging experiences.
🔥 Cultural & Culinary Experiences – Hosting wilderness BBQs, preparing hot-smoked fish on the cliffs, and introducing guests to Greenlandic traditions such as village visits and dog sled history.
🚁 Scenic Helicopter Excursions – In some cases, you may accompany guests on helicopter journeys to glaciers and remote settlements.
Every tour is tailored to the guest’s interests, and you will be expected to create an engaging, authentic, and personal experience rather than simply following a script.
