The Circle Keepers
Aviaja – Angakkoq
Aviaja comes from a long lineage of spiritual healers in Greenland’s remote northeast. She carries forward the practices of angakkuussarneq, the Greenlandic shamanic path rooted in the interconnectedness of all life.
Guided by ancestral wisdom and a deep relationship to the land, her work is closely connected to Greenland’s natural elements, spirits, and stories.
Aviaja was featured in The Eternal Song – An Ancestral Healing Film, where she shares her perspective on Greenlandic ancestral knowledge and spiritual practices.

The Circle Keepers
Kati – Anersaarsiortoq
Kasi is an anersaarsiortoq, a traditional Greenlandic seer known for her ability to bring messages from the spirit world. With a deep connection to Greenlandic spiritual traditions and intuitive insight, she supports participants through one-on-one guidance and quiet presence.
Kasi also assists Aviaaja in ceremonies and rituals, helping hold space for group work rooted in Greenlandic shamanism and healing practices.

A Dream Rooted in Spirit
and Ancestral Healing
Alongside leading this retreat, Aviaja is working to bring a long-held vision to life — a healing space in Nuuk grounded in ancestral knowledge and spirit.
This future sanctuary will offer deep, culturally rooted care for those living with trauma, grief, or spiritual crisis — including those without access to traditional support.
To help bring this vision to life, a portion of each retreat booking supports the creation of this healing space.
