A Healing House Rooted
in Indigenous Wisdom
A safe and sacred space for soul-level healing — grounded in ancient Inuit wisdom, created for those seeking to reconnect with self, spirit, and meaning.

A Healing House for Soul,
Body & Culture
Alongside her work as an angakkoq (shaman), Aviaaja is building a healing house rooted in Inuit knowledge and cultural wisdom.
This space will not be a treatment center in the Western sense — but a living sanctuary for healing, storytelling, spiritual practice, and human connection.
Many in Greenland live with deep trauma, grief, or crisis. This house offers a different path — one that sees the whole person, not just the wound.
We are proud to support this vision and contribute to its unfolding.
Support those navigating trauma, loss, and spiritual crisis
Preserve and pass on Greenlandic healing knowledge
Offer a holistic alternative to fragmented systems
Create access to healing for all — regardless of income
What This Space is Meant to Be
Built for Integrity and Longevity
The healing house will be guided solely by Greenlandic spiritual lineage.
An external nonprofit structure will manage fundraising, finance, and legal support — but will not influence the sacred healing work.
This model ensures the space remains grounded in Indigenous values and protected from external interference.
Why This Healing Space
Is Needed in Greenland
Many people in Greenland live with complex trauma — grief, soul loss, and disconnection that runs through generations.
Here, healing is not reduced to symptoms. The person is seen as a whole.
The past is honored. Spirit is invited in.

“We need a space where healing happens through presence, connection, and ancestral wisdom — not just medication or diagnosis.”
— Aviaja

How You Can Support
Why We Share This Vision
At Nomad Greenland, our work grows from our land, our people, and the ancestral knowledge that continues to guide life here.
We have made it a priority to help bring Avaaja’s vision for a Greenlandic healing space to life — a place rooted in soul-level healing, cultural continuity, and care for those who need it most.
This vision is not only hers; it reflects a broader movement to restore balance, dignity, and healing within Greenland’s Indigenous communities. We are dedicating significant time and resources to support its realization.
If you are interested in learning more or meeting Aviaja, we host a limited number of spiritual retreats in collaboration with her each year.
