Two places with different character.

Greenland is not experienced in one way, and neither is staying here.

We work from two remote places, each offering a different way of being in the landscape.

Both follow the same approach — privately guided, small in scale, and shaped day by day — but they unfold in distinct surroundings.

The place shapes both the feeling and what naturally becomes part of the day.

One is set deep within a fjord, with mountains rising directly from the water and a sense of stillness throughout.

The other opens towards the sea, with icebergs moving through the water and a nearby village, where a more visible connection to local life can become part of the stay.

In Kiattua, the landscape feels more contained, shaped by the fjord and the mountains around it.

Located 90 km from Nuuk, Kiattua sits deep within one of the world’s largest fjord systems, far removed from roads and settlements.

Surrounded by ancient mountains and deep fjord water, it offers a more direct and undisturbed way of being in the landscape.

In Saqqaq, the experience is shaped by the sea, the ice, and the presence of the village nearby.

Saqqaq lies 110 km from the nearest town, a small fishing village overlooking the wide waters of Disko Bay.

Life here follows the rhythm of the seasons, closely connected to the sea, the land, and the traditions that continue to shape daily life.

The choice often comes down to what you are drawn to.

If you are drawn to fjords, mountains, and a stronger sense of distance from everything else, Kiattua tends to resonate.

If you are drawn to the presence of ice, the sea, and a closer connection to local life, Saqqaq often feels like the right place to begin.

Experiencing both places often gives a more complete sense of Greenland.

Many guests choose to stay in both Kiattua and Saqqaq.

Moving between them brings together different aspects of the landscape — from fjords and mountains to ice, open water, and life in the village.
