Agent FAM Trips 2026

For selected travel professionals, this FAM trip offers space to understand our destinations and the way we welcome guests into the wilderness.
 

It is an opportunity to see Kiattua and Saqqaq as our guests do — the landscape, the hosting style, and the quiet rhythm that defines a stay with us.

Scheduled for mid-September, the journey also falls within Greenland’s aurora season, when the night sky often begins to stir.

We have capacity for up to ten agents on this departure. 
Applications will be reviewed, and invited agents will be confirmed by

20 December 2025.
If seats remain after this date, we will continue to accept applications on a rolling basis.

 
The full amount is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the FAM trip.

Mountains & Fjords: Nuuk to Kiattua

Travel into the wilderness near Nuuk and explore one of Greenland’s most striking fjord systems. This journey offers time to experience the landscape, the quiet of the mountains, and the way life unfolds in this part of the country.
 

Your trip begins in Nuuk, where modern Greenland meets centuries of culture and tradition. From here, you continue into the fjords and spend three nights at Kiattua Camp, set deep within the mountains.

The surroundings create a calm space to disconnect from everyday life and gain a clear sense of the region’s natural character.

Explore fjords, hike or fish, and relax with a hot tub soak or Arctic plunge. Details: Uummannaq Island: Visit a historic island surrounded by ancient peaks. Explore Inuit and missionary burial sites, and enjoy hot-smoked fish prepared over a bonfire. Arctic Plunge and Iceberg Walk: Take a drysuit dive into icy fjord waters or step onto a stable iceberg for a thrilling experience. Hot Tub Relaxation: Unwind in the camp’s hot tub with glacier-fed waters and stunning fjord views. Evening: Gather by the fire for drinks and stories, surrounded by the serenity of the Arctic night.

A Day in Nuuk: Exploring Greenland’s Vibrant Capital Details: Closed heated boat Ride: Begin your day with a 2-hour journey through serene Arctic waters, gliding past towering icebergs and breathtaking views as you make your way to Nuuk. Check-in at Your Hotel: Settle into your comfortable room, offering a relaxing base with stunning views of Nuuk’s dramatic landscapes. Afternoon on Your Own: Spend the afternoon exploring Greenland’s capital at your own pace. Visit the National Museum to see the famous Greenlandic mummies, take a walk through the charming Old Harbor, or browse local artisan shops. A scenic 90-minute closed heated boat journey takes you through pristine fjords, with towering cliffs welcoming you to Kiattua. Forage, kayak, or hike Eagle Mountain for breathtaking views of the Arctic. Kayaking and Foraging: Paddle through calm waters to harvest mussels and cod, then cook your catch over an open flame on a secluded shore. Day 6

Farewell to Greenland: A Morning in Nuuk and Departure Details: Breakfast at the Hotel: Begin your day with a relaxed breakfast at Hotel Hans Egede. The Capital of Greenland Time on Your Own: Spend the morning at your leisure. Explore Nuuks streets, pick up last-minute souvenirs, or take in the serene beauty of the fiord one last time. Transfer to the Airport: Your arranged transfer will take you to Nuuk International Airport for your flight, marking the conclusion of your Arctic adventure.

Icebergs & Coastline: Ilulissat to Saqqaq

Join this journey for a quiet introduction to northern Greenland. It offers time to understand Saqqaq’s coastal landscape, its connection to the surrounding ice, and the rhythm of life in a remote Arctic community.

Your trip begins in Ilulissat, where the icebergs of Disko Bay set the atmosphere for the days ahead. You then continue to Saqqaq and spend three nights at our camp, staying close to the coastline and the village beside it.

Details: Morning Options: Mussel Harvesting: Gather fresh mussels from the shore, which the camp chef transforms into a flavorful dish. or Whale Beach & Basalt Hike: Travel by open boat along the basalt cliffs north of Saqqaq to a sandy Arctic beach marked by a whale skeleton. Continue with a short hike to the top of the basalt ridge, about 25 meters above the shoreline, for wide panoramic views of Disko Bay and the surrounding mountains. Afternoon: Saqqaq Village Walk: Take a gentle walk through the village to learn about daily life in this remote Arctic community. Visit the small church, stop by the local shop, and gain insight into how traditions and modern routines coexist in Saqqaq. Discover the Icefjord and Sail Through Disko Bay to Camp Saqqaq Details: Meet Your Guide: Begin the day by meeting your guide for the upcoming adventure. They’ll provide insights and help you prepare for the journey ahead. Icefjord Center Visit: Explore this UNESCO-listed site, featuring interactive exhibits and breathtaking views of Ilulissat Icefjord. Sermermiut Hike: Take a scenic walk along a boardwalk to ancient Inuit ruins, where your guide will share stories of life in this icy valley. Lunch at Hotel Icefiord: Savor a locally inspired meal before setting off for Saqqaq. Sail through Disko Bay, moving quietly past the icebergs that drift along the coast, with the chance to encounter whales along the way.
