ABOUT US

Who We Are

Since 2017, Jon and Anika Krogh have been reimagining what luxury means in Earth’s last frontier. We aren’t just another tour operator—we’re storytellers, wilderness philosophers, and guardians of experiences that change how you see the world. Our camps exist for just four precious months each year, emerging with the Arctic summer and vanishing without a trace, leaving only memories and the unchanged tundra behind.

We believe high-end experience isn’t about thread counts or golden taps. It’s about silence so complete you hear your own heartbeat. It’s standing on an iceberg older than civilization. It’s sharing traditional coffee with an Inuit grandmother who remembers when dogsleds were the only transport. Our philosophy honors the generosity of river and land, blending Greenland’s wilderness bounty with culinary artistry—each meal a story of our ancestors.

What We Offer

Limited to just ten guests per camp, we craft journeys as unique as the Arctic itself—no fixed itineraries, only possibilities shaped by weather, wildlife, and wonder. Your private guide reads the land like poetry, creating adventures that match your dreams and abilities. Perhaps today means catching Arctic char with your hands, tomorrow hiking to the ice cap’s edge, the next day learning to read weather patterns from village elders.

Our all-inclusive approach removes every barrier between you and pure experience. From the moment you land in Greenland, everything flows seamlessly—boat transfers through ice-jeweled fjords, equipment for every adventure, gourmet meals celebrating local ingredients, wines chosen to complement Arctic flavors, and accommodations that balance wilderness authenticity with unexpected comfort. Both camps feature hot tubs, saunas, and that rarest luxury: time to simply be.

Why Guests Love Us

The testimonials speak volumes, but they only hint at the transformation our guests experience. “It was worth every penny,” writes Anne, who found in our camps “one of the best outdoor trips I have been on.” She speaks of guides who felt like “co-adventurers,” of being able to “absorb the landscape without intrusion,” of Greenland feeling “alive… as if life in reluctant and dormant forms lies within the rocks.”

Karen’s family, despite flight challenges, had “an absolutely wonderful time” and would “certainly recommend traveling to Greenland with Nomad.” Another guest called their journey “magical,” praising guide Barbara who “made sure I got everything I wanted out of the camp and more.”

What they’re really describing is connection—to nature, to culture, to something essential within themselves. As one reviewer noted, this is “adventure of a lifetime with a mix of nature, adventure, a chef and hot water shower.” In our camps, you don’t just visit the Arctic; you become part of its story, returning home with what Anne beautifully captured: memories of “the immensity and silence of Greenland” that forever change how you see the world.

“We really loved having tea in town with the local women and hearing about their lives. We also loved the whale beach hike and the general environment of camp Saqqaq.”
